The medical care of the children in our homes is very important and, for that reason, the senior staff are trained in giving day to day treatment for minor conditions and help in recognising more serious problems. In all three childrem’s homes we carry a comprehensive supply of first aid equipment.

The children are given regular medical check ups and we monitor their height and weight. Recently the children and staff were able to receive free Hepatitis B vaccinations with the help of friends of ours who run a medical charity called IMPACT who provide medical treatment for those in third world countries and we are greatly indebted to them.

One of our sponsors who is a Dentist in Devon makes regular trips to india and incorporates a dental clinic for our children while he is there. One of our children who had an accident playing cricket, lost both his front teeth. He is now the proud owner of a dental plate which has certainly put a smile back on his face.
