This is our first purpose built home in South India. It was opened on June 11th 2000. Although it was built to accommodate upto fifty children, we now have over a Hundred living there due to the demands upon us for places. We have three children’s homes, two of which we own. They have been selected in areas where the children are safe, the water is clean, and where the children do not have to travel far to school. We believe in sending the children to local schools so that they can mix with other children in the area and they do not become institutionalised. It also means that we are supporting the schools in numbers and financially to enable the schools to develop and provide a better standard of education. To care for the children in the homes we employ managers, wardens, cooks, cleaners and laundry workers who have been trained to give the best standard of care for the children.
